Dhaka, Oct 1 (UNB) - Indian Women’s A Cricket team will arrive in the capital on Wednesday (Oct 2) to play a three match one-day and three-match T20 series against their Bangladesh counterpart in Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar.
Touring Indian Women’s team will play three 50-over-a-side one-day matches on October 4, 6 and 8 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram while tourists will play three T20 matches on October 11, 12 and 14 at the Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox's Bazar.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 15-member 2nd string Bangladesh Women’s team naming Shaila Sharmin as the captain for both the one-day and T20 series.
After the first one day, Mumta Hena Hasnat and Fariha Islam Trisna will replace Rumana Ahmed and Nigar Sultana Joty who will head to Australia for the Women’s Big Bash League.
Besides, Bangladesh National Women’ s Cricket team are due to visit Pakistan in the 3rd week on this month to play one-day and t20 series against Pakistan and Women’s Emerging Team to tour Sri Lanka almost at the same time.
